I am a British, BBC-trained, freelance digital content producer, video editor, and filmmaker, with a first-class degree in TV & Video Production from Southampton Solent University.
I’ve worked for global brands like Disney in Australia, Mercury Studios (Universal), BBC Studios and IMG in London, as a content producer, video editor and self shooting camera op, both in-house and remotely.
As a video editor and content producer at Disney, I have edited multiple trailers and assets for a variety of Disney Intellectual properties, including Marvel, Nat Geo, Pixar, and Star Wars. This role encompassed not just editing but also camera work, motion graphics and creating unique online social content. I’ve done on-location work at Disney live events such as film premiers, as a camera op, as well as editing quick turn around news channel packages and sizzle reels for the event.
At BBC Studios, I created engaging social media assets for Top Gear, BBC Earth, and Dr Who. I contributed creative ideas, led promo filming shoots, and ensured all content met broadcasting standards.
My time on the IMG Advantage Trainee scheme, working in their digital sports department, involved fast-paced editing of highlights from international sporting events such as the Eredivisie, EuroLeague Basketball and the Chinese Super League for international news clients under tight deadlines.
I’ve also produced, shot, presented, and edited 50 comedy travel episodes in a team of two, for my own channel on the move, as we traveled across Asia, to India, Nepal, China, Japan, and Thailand. We created short features as we got involved in local sports and culture, joining Shaolin Kung Fu school, taking part in a Bollywood film, playing Kabbadi in New Delhi, and racing from China to Tokyo to get to the Rugby World Cup.
These led to a production collaboration with the Unilad Adventure (Ladbible Group) in which we created a series of comedy travel short features in Scandinavia, including Death Diving. We were developing several projects with them including sports which should be in the Olympics and a Red Bull challenge - which were halted by the Pandemic.
